Description

These easy-to-maintain water-oil filters are made up of a body and an internal filtering element with a wire mesh inside a support.

They are mainly used to protect mechanical seals in pumps or other applications, being able to withstand their pressure, the self-cleaning filters with integrated grid have pressure ratings of up to 10 bar and allow flow rates of up to 20 LPM, depending on the application, type of fluid and ambient temperature.

Design and principle of operation

The filter was developed to minimize the entry of contaminants into an automatic refrigeration or lubrication system to ensure that the system starts the process with an optimum degree of cleanliness, it is designed to be installed as an in-line component. As the fluid enters the body, it passes through the filter and then goes out to the pipe of the installation to be treated, guaranteeing its filtering and once the clogging index is reached, it makes its way to flussing, ensuring optimal cleaning of the filter element.

Facility

Install the filter as a component in the outlet line of the pump to filter the fluid entering the system to be treated. The equipment can be mounted in any position, although a vertical position is recommended considering its easy access for possible maintenance work.

This filter is designed to allow the filter elements to be disassembled without removing the existing piping. Simply remove the assembly-support to carry out maintenance work.
