Description
They are primordial and priority elements in the design of any confined space, since this is how the air is filtered and any unwanted impurities are prevented from entering and causing further damage to the lubrication systems.
They are also designed to filter the air intake to any confined space in order to evacuate the air from this space.
Design and principle of operation
These aerators are designed for simple and practical installation in most Nortek tanks, including tanks from other manufacturers. The threaded connection makes it easy to adapt it to almost all spaces as well as allowing easy and quick maintenance.
Its operation consists of conducting the passage of air by passing it through a filter, through this same passage it is let out in case it is needed due to fluctuations in the fluid in the tank.
Installation
Because its passage is free and it does not have any mechanical element to prevent its entry or exit, it is located in an area free of internal fluid, it is normally installed on the roof of the tanks or in the highest area of the confined space where the fluid level does not reach, always leaving enough space for maintenance.
In the habitual use of the filters, they become clogged, getting clogged with the impurities that they retain. After some time of operation, it is necessary to change it to ensure the quality of the air that is breathed inside the tank. In order to guarantee performance, the filters must be checked. NORTEK recommends changing the cartridge at each maintenance check.
The amount of equipment to be installed depends on the capacity of the deposit.
